Shannon is a fast pace, on-the-move kind of gal. There is never a dull moment for her! She loves meeting new people and having new experiences. As a distinguished Brooks Institute of Photography alum, her favorite thing about photography is being able to freeze moments and make them last forever. She shares, "to be able to remember an emotion, a feeling, a smell or a look from a photograph is powerful." Fun fact: Shannon has has been a vegetarian for 20 years (since she was 9)!
I attended a friends wedding and the whole bridal party jumped into the pool in their gowns and suits! Guests then followed in their footsteps. Everyone was having a great time and then danced the night away to dry!
Whether it is laying in bed watching a movie or hiking in the mountains, doing it with my amazing partner in life of 10 years and our 12 year old dog, Mooshki (the love of our lives) makes everything perfect. Add a GIANT iced coffee in there and that would be the cherry on top of everything! :)
I would have to choose the 70’s!! It was such a powerful time full of so much passion. People were coming together and really started to fight for what they believed in and were being heard! Also LOVE the clothes and the dancing style! :)
Oh man, San Jose has so much to offer. To name a few, Bill’s cafe is a great breakfast place and when the line is long they give you drinks while you wait. Vasona Park is great for some trail running, picnics, paddle boarding, playing frisbee, etc. Not to mention that Downtown always has something going on!
Running always makes me feel inspired to live life and empowered to push myself to new challenges! Especially when I am running through nature or the mountains. Listening to my Pandora of BANKS and Marion Hill stations to keep me going strong.
I would go to Alaska so I could see the northern lights, hands down!! :) Right now! Let’s go!
"I can’t stop drinking the coffee. If I stop drinking the coffee, I stop doing the standing and the walking and the words putting into sentence doing.” -Lorelai Gilmore
My all time favorite running shoe! It’s the only running shoe as far as I am concerned. You don’t know comfort until you have worn these!
My guilty pleasure. Wherever there is a fry, I am there!
I don’t know how many times my phone flies out of my hand on a daily basis. If it wasn’t for the Otterbox, I would never have a working phone.
Whether its hiking, running, camping, meditating or even just driving through the mountains, it’s very therapeutic.
Without my calendar I would be lost!
